Description

Tribal Nova is looking for an iOS Developer to join our team. As part of a growing team of developers and under the supervision of the Director Of Technology, your responsibilities include creating cutting edge applications and be responsible for the development and delivery of software solutions. You will also collaborate with the various departments within the company to ensure successful projects.

Responsibilities:
• Develop iOS applications (iPad and iPhone)
• Participate in the analysis and conception of these applications
• Integrate visual and sound elements in these applications
• Debug applications
• Maintain applications

Requirements:
• Experience as an iOS developer
• Mastering Objective-C
• Mastering object-oriented programming
• Mastering common design patterns
• Detail and quality oriented
• Organized, responsible and autonomous

Other Qualifications:
• Back end development expertise (PHP, Spring, JEE)
• Rich Internet Application (RIA) development expertise
• Android development expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar degree

In this role, based in Silicon Valley, you’ll be responsible for owning the development of a critical embedded mobile application from concept through its life cycle. This role reports to the Head of Device Software.

This is a new product category for our client—you will be a key member of the development team that is responsible for the embedded applications on this Android based device.

The ideal candidate is an expert in both their understanding of mobile software development and an accomplished application developer in their own right. You have a track record of success playing the lead role in the design and development of consumer electronics device software. Most recently, your experience will include software designed for the mobile environment, ideally Android based.

Description:

As a Senior Application Developer, you will be solely responsible for one of a handful of applications on this mobile internet device. You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting the marketing and user requirements, work in conjunction with the GUI consultants, as well as other application developers, to build a world class product.

Though well financed, the development environment is fast paced and early stage. Your passion for innovating and driving toward aggressive schedules and delivering against those will be key to your success as well as that of the entire development team.

Requirements:

Expertise in developing mobile consumer software applications preferably on the Android platform, or S60, iPhone, Blackberry, etc.

7-10 years of experience developing applications for devices; a significant portion of that time in the mobile segment

Several years of experience successfully leading software development

Deep technical expertise in Java, Java Applications, Ajax, XML, Web 2.0 application frameworks, and associated developer tools / environments

Expertise in developing state of the art application architectures and implementing state of the art user interfaces

Experience with client / server environments highly desirable

A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, debugging

The ability to work in an agile and nimble environment with constant change

Experience working within contemporary software development methodologies, change management, release management, configuration management, life cycle methodologies, QA and test

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

BSCS / MSCS preferred plus a minimum of 8-10 years of software experience design experience

• Has expertise in developing user interfaces both in C and in Java as our developments are targeting multiple platforms: J2ME, Blackberries, Android, Symbian, iPhone, Windows Mobile …
• Has at least 2 years of experience as a mobile commercial application designer
• Has very strong graphics and ergonomics designer skills
• Has at least 5 years of experience in design and ergonomics for highly interactive applications as a prototype developer, visual designer, interaction designer or an equivalent position.
• Has strong oral communication skills and ability to convert someone else vision into a prototype.

We are looking for someone who is really passionate, autonomous, responsible and willing to work in a very dynamic professional environment.

You will be in charge of designing and developing the user interface of our mobile applications, both for prototype and production versions.
