THE ROLE

Searchignite is seeking a talented Flex Developer with experience in building complex and interactive Adobe Flex applications. The ideal candidate will be well versed in Application Design and Coding, as well as QA testing/Delivery. They will also be able to work well in a team environment and provide input and suggestions in all aspects of the Adobe Flex development life cycle to the other members of the technology group.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We’re looking for an organized, collaborative, forward-thinking individual who can ensure quick response to rapidly evolving business needs; someone to provide day-to-day reporting of development activities along the product plan, and guidance in future product offerings.

Qualifications:
-2+ years experience in Flash/Flex development.
-In depth knowledge of all aspects of Flex Builder 3.0, Flash, and ActionScript 2.0/3.0 including JavaScript, XHTML, HTML, CSS, JSON, and DOM
-Expertise in OO design
-Expertise in reusable component design and implementation
-Understanding of common User Experience patterns and implementations in Flex
-Knowledge of best of breed flex frameworks for complex applications (e.g. PureMVC, Cairngorm, Mate, Penne)
-Experience with Flex Builder IDE or plugin on Eclipse platform
-Experience integrating Flash/Flex with PHP applications through Remoting/Web Service
-Strong understanding of scalable server side architecture
-Ability to merge entrepreneurial spirit with robust development processes.
-High energy and self-motivated; eager to get the job(s) done
-BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant Technology field
-The following will distinguish candidates from others: Experience building AIR desktop applications, experience/knowledge of digital marketing, and/or knowledge of Adobe Flash Builder 4 advancements
