full time Interactive Flash Designer

at MarketArt in East Greenbush, NY

MarketArt is currently seeking a creative interactive designer. This position is responsible for designing interactive components for the flash based You Are Here online and offline application. Other responsibilities include creating marketing materials for print and web.

Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of Flash CS3+, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong portfolio of web and multimedia design.
  • Strong sense of design and type.
  • Basic knowledge of Actionscript.
  • Self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and team skills

Other Helpful Qualifications:

  • Video/Motion Graphics
  • Advanced knowledge of Actionscript 3 working with XML, Tweening libraries, and PureMVC
  • Valid XHTML/CSS skills
  • Working knowledge of PHP, Javascript (jQuery) and AJAX
