Senior Flash/Flex Developer (sports fans/gamers preferred)
at Exsos LLC in Foxboro, MA
Salary $80-100K; temp to perm (will consider contract for the right candidate)
Sr. Flash/Flex Developer (Foxboro, MA)
We are looking for a Sr. Flash/Flex Developer to own, lead and shape our Flash technology platform. This position reports to the Director of Technology. All backend Flex work; ALL CODE.
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of professional Flash development with 3+ years of AS2 (ActionScript 2) development
• Proficiency and advanced knowledge of AS3 (ActionScript 3)
• Experience with tools for importing data into Flash (e.g. XML sockets, HTTP calls and LoadVars)
• Proficiency with integrating Flash Video and Audio content
• Knowledge of Flash development frameworks (Flex, Flash Media and Communication Servers etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to write high-quality specifications
• Experience working in fast-paced environment and ability to rapidly learn new skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Valued Skills:
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Prior experience in the games industry, particularly having shipped a product as a senior engineer or lead
• Experience developing Flash-based games
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications and servlets
Proficiency with HTML/XML/CSS and LAMP architecture
