Senior Flash Developer

Meta Interfaces / VideoBox is seeking a skilled, driven, and dedicated Flash Developer to join our 35-person team in our downtown San Francisco office. We are on the cutting edge of web-based multimedia content delivery, with a system that provides multiple gigabytes/second from a content catalog measured in tens of terabytes. The Position
Flash Developer will be responsible for working with video-intensive flash applications. The features of these applications will include (but not be limited to):
• Delivery of high quality video at multiple bitrates
• Deep tagging of video content
• User creation of video mashups
• Integration with massive data sets stored on Java-based servers
• Multiple skins for white label and internationalized deployments
• Interactive promotional tools
Required skills:
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Three or more years of software development experience and a stellar performance record
• Excellent ActionScript 3.0 programming skills
• Experience communicating with Java-based servers through XMLHttpRequests
• Knowledge of FLV video encoding profiles (H.264 a plus)
• Ability to develop rapid prototypes
• Passion for building innovative products

We license adult DVDs to populate the site with content and then buy internet traffic to send to the site.
