Moonfruit.com is seeking an experienced Flash Platform Developer to join our Agile development team in our central London office. Moonfruit offers a Flash based website building application used by hundreds of thousands of customers everyday. This is a unique opportunity to join a great company, now in its tenth year. Since launch over 2,800,000 websites have been built using our software.
We're looking for someone who has worked with Flash for years and evolved with it. You must be passionate about Flash and it's place in the world. Despite what Steve thinks ;-)
You must have an understanding of Object Oriented programming, 5 or more years as a Flex/Actionscript developer, with a degree/or equivalent in computer science or a self-taught rigorous approach to development. You will have experience of Flash, Actionscript, Actionscript 2, SVN, FlexUnit/ASUnit and Flex.
Role will include work on:
• New feature development in Flex 4.1 / Air 2.0 and Flash
• Project lead role for new product features
• Migrating legacy code base to cutting edge technologies
You will work in a mixed skill development team, using Scrum to release new product features every 4-6 weeks under the direction of the CTO. You will be comfortable using different technologies/languages as necessary to meet overall team objectives, though remain an expert in your area of experience. You will have the opportunity to lead development cycles, provide creative solutions to challenging problems, and help shape the direction of the moonfruit website building application.
